Our Goal
The Victorian Youth Paddle Academy (formely Victorian Youth Polo Academy) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been created to help to grow and develop kayaking and canoe polo throughout the state. We aim to offer opportunities for members of the public and local communities around Melbourne and Regional Victoria to become involved in kayaking and canoe polo and endeavour to remove as many barriers to the sport as possible, whether they are financial, accessibility or location. Established in 2019, the club has grown substantially to host over 50 canoe polo members at our programs in the Brunswick Baths. VYPA is excited to be establishing our Junior Flatwater Program in 2024 to provide opportunities across all kayaking disciplines.
